We just completed the restoration on this 66 Buick Wildcat 2 Door Sport Coupe. This car is owned by my Aunt Katherine and cousin Bobby Roberts. Kat has owned this car since 1968 and as a teenager, I use to wax it for for her on weekends . She parked it about 10 years ago and it had been setting on her carport since. It is a "Numbers Matching" Wildcat with original 425 CID 'Nailhead' engine, which has lots of torque and plenty horsepower, and the original automatic transmission. This car was taken down to bare metal for the refinish, which is 2 tone (astro blue with arctic white top). The pictures in the gallary show some of the work we did. James Russell at Dixie Hotrods, located here in Athens Alabama, did a great job with the interior. Dan's Polishing did a raelly nice job replating the bumpers. These cars are really rare and parts for restorations are few and far between. We took it to the Delphi Show this year where it got a lot of looks and many pictures taken of it. It is for sale.
